Staff of NP (SL) Limited participated in an HIV/AIDS sensitization session conducted by the Business Coalition Against AIDS in Sierra Leone (BCAASL) at the company’s head office.
The session focused on HIV transmission, prevention measures, and the importance of reducing stigma. Facilitator Unisa Mansaray emphasized safe sexual practices, avoiding contact with blood, and understanding that HIV cannot be transmitted through casual interactions.
He also highlighted the role of antiretroviral therapy (ART) and preventive options like PrEP and PEP. Staff engaged actively during the discussion, with CEO Dr. Ing. Mohamed Kanu calling for increased use of social media to strengthen public sensitization.
The initiative reflects NP-SL’s commitment to employee well-being and strengthening health and safety practices.
