From Vision to Reality: New Fuel Station Serves Heart of Sierra Leone’s Highway

Amidst the current competitive market, NP (SL) Limited has partnered with a prominent entrepreneur, Dr. Asiatu Siesay, to commission a modern fuel station (Mama Flo Gas Station) along the busy Makeni-Masiaka Highway. The commissioning ceremony, which was attended by local dignitaries, community leaders, police, and Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SLCB), marks a significant milestone in the effort to improve infrastructure and fuel access across Sierra Leone.
The new fuel station, strategically located to serve one of the country’s most vital transport routes, aims to ease long-standing concerns of fuel scarcity along the corridor. Dr. Siesay, known for her commitment to community-driven development, praised the collaboration with NP (SL) Limited as a shared vision to boost economic activity and local empowerment.
“This is more than a fuel station,” Dr. Siesay declared. “It is a symbol of partnership, progress, and promise for the people who travel this highway daily.”
NP SL Limited’s Sales Manager, Ing. Vandi Bockarie, highlighted the Company’s continued investment in expanding accessibility and enhancing customer satisfaction. “Our partnership with Dr. Asiatu brings together strong business leadership and community focus,” he noted. “This station is built to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.”
As the ribbon was cut and the first pump activated, applause filled the air, signalling the start of a new chapter not just for Masiaka, but for the future of fuel service delivery in Sierra Leone.
