NP’s New CEO Pays Curtesy Call on PRA’s Executive Chairman

The new CEO of NP Sierra Leone Limited, Mr. Saidu Mansaray, alongside his team of managers, has paid a courtesy call on the Executive Chairman of the Petroleum Regulatory Agency-Sierra Leone, Mr. Brima M. Baluwa Koroma. The purpose of the visit was to establish a strong relationship between NP (SL) Limited and the Agency.
During the courtesy visit, NP’s CEO Saidu Mansaray expressed appreciation for PRA’s crucial role in regulating the petroleum industry. He emphasized NP’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of operations and the desire to collaborate with the PRA to improve the seamless flow of petroleum products across the country.
The Executive Chairman of PRA, Brima M. Baluwa Koroma, congratulated Mr. Saidu Mansaray on his new appointment and expressed the Agency’s eagerness to work with the new team. He also mentioned that NP is the largest importer of fuel products in the country and has made significant contributions to the sector. He revealed that the Agency has grown exponentially, from 458 billion to 1.2 trillion over the past five years. Additionally, he stressed the importance of strong partnerships between industry players and the Agency to enhance confidence in achieving common goals. Mr. Baluwa Koroma encouraged the Company to expand its geographical footprint to make fuel accessible to more remote areas in Sierra Leone.
The Executive Chairman announced that the Agency plans to organize a national workshop for Dealers/Resellers to provide them with guidance on how to collectively regulate the industry. He also mentioned that the unacceptable behavior of some pump attendants needs to stop immediately.
The courtesy call marked a significant milestone in the relationship between NP and PRA. It demonstrated the new CEO’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships, compliance, and sustainable growth in the industry. Both parties agreed to revamp the OMC Awards night, which will improve a positive step towards a mutually beneficial partnership between NP and the PRA.
