NP (SL) to Supply Guinea 5,000MT Fuel Following Fire Explosion at Conakry Oil Depot

NP (SL) Limited is in the process of supplying 5,000 metric tons of petroleum products to Guinea.
The Vice President of Sierra Leone, Hon. Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, together with the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Madam Fatmata Wurie, and officials from the Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA), visited the NP SL Terminal to oversee the process.
It should be noted that Guinea has recently encountered a tragic fire incident involving the explosion of its main oil depot.
The explosion claimed the lives of 18 people, injuring more than 200 and wreaking damage to buildings over a radius of more than one kilometer (0.6 miles).
The venture to supply Guinea, when disaster has just struck the country, could not have come at a better time. Attracting a lot of commendation, the step has been hailed by many as evidence of Sierra Leone being a better neighbor.
Many have applauded NP for the move to present Sierra Leone in a good light internationally.
