NP (SL) Limited has held an awareness talk on the Gender Equality and Women\u2019s Empowerment Act with a team from the Ministry of Gender and Children\u2019s Affairs at the Company\u2019s head office in Siaka Steven Street.<\/div>\n

The meeting is geared towards enlightening staff about actions that constitute sexual harassment and about provisions in the GEWE and Sexual Offences Acts that address sexual harassment issues in the workplace.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

With both fictional and non-fictional scenarios, the team from the Ministry of Gender and Children\u2019s Affairs shared insights with staff on unprofessional conducts in the workspace that affect the rights of individuals, both men and women.<\/div>\n

They conveyed the work of the Ministry and emphasised laws and international instruments that deal with actions in the workspace that constitute sexual harassment, especially the GEWE and Sexual Offences Acts. Management and staff of NP SL assured the Ministry of Gender and Children\u2019s Affairs of the Company\u2019s cooperation and readiness to ensure a safe working space that guarantees the rights of all staff.<\/div>\n
